While uuids are good for databases and hash tables, it is not the best for my daynotes application where I want to still manually track loaded files in time. rather than rely on a database or record for knowing day (which I prefer in YYYYMMDD format)

This website is a quick utility for when I want to manually create an id in my fav format.
