most of the testing done with long screen was seeing how many devices were compatible with both the strange aspect ratio and the touch input. our first doomscroller test happened by holding the screens by hand while one person attempted to scroll. turns out windows and a 4-video-output GPU would be the most straightforward way to create doomscroller
the full longscreen build began with boxing out a wooden frame that would just hold up long screen along the long edges of the screen. spare cable routing sticky mounts were used to create a "ribcage" that would hold the screens in place. the screens were then hot-glued along the backside to the wooden frame to prevent them from falling out from the front of the piece.
all the screens were plugged into the DanA4 custom PC used for travel development. the displays have to be configured on each bootup to correctly recognize the touch inputs (so that a user can swipe continuously across all 4 screens).
