Babes Brunch

first in flight

kim wanted a sticker for babes brunch. i could not for the life of me figure out what to do

then the idea of saying first in flight as a pun for being at a taproom was a great idea

I did several sketches on paper which led to the idea of having the earth-star background. the entire sticker was designed in Inkscape to maximize the usage of curved text (which is just impossible in GIMP where I am more often). I wanted it to be a die cut sticker at first but could never get the background swoop to look right and went with a circle sticker in the end.

This sticker may be one of my favorite projects.
