Penelope Cat Commission

a quick winter sticker for a friend.

Very quick turn-around sticker project. Had several reference photos of the cat. The fur makes creating a stylized version very hard (too varied and detailed). Decided to do a crt-effect to keep the patterning on the face.

The image was worked up in GIMP. Colors were saturated and then run through a video dot-pattern filter. The body of the cat was removed leaving only the head and a white border.

the real trick was to make the sticker holographic to pop the crt filter.

50 stickers were ordered.
